 Batam was brilliant. Awesome place, food, company, everything! Only problem was the damned mosquitoes. Free flow buffet for every meal with a wide variety of indonesian dishes. A personal chef to cook your eggs just the way you like if for breakfast.. Seriously? I felt like a ball of lard after each meal! We girls were so thrilled after checking our rooms out. Cosy and so relaxing.. Jungle trekking, rafting and high-ropes were brill! I've always loved adventure. Anything that gets my heart pumping, is welcome. Gala night was a total scream. Skits performed were nothing short of hilarious, food was wow and the people, just great. I've met so many awesome people, really. Oh, visit to the local primary was heartwarming. All these lil faces looking up to you in wonder.. Sighh. I don't regret signing up for this trip, not even one bit.
